My way to work at Microsoft
Published on: 16.08.2008
This series of photos is my way to work at Microsoft. I shot them during walking and driving to Microsoft (from my appartment to the office).
There's actually no real reason why I made this series, other than the fun of doing something during the walk to the office. It might also
be interesting for other people to see how it is when you go to work at Microsoft...

Going to Seattle: Innsbruck, the Alps, Frankfurt, Greenland, Rocky Mountains, the Cascades and Seattle
Published on: 15.08.2008
This picture set describes my way from Innsbruck to Seattle. The first flight was over the Alps to Frankfurt. It was interesting
because I have never seen the Alps from the top. The second flight was from Frankfurt over Greenland, Canada and the Rocky Mountains to
Seattle. Greendland is really cool. All this eyes swimming in the water: that's really awesome and I couldn't stop watching outside
of the window down to the icebergs.

Touring the lakes near Salzburg
Published on: 14.08.2008
When I was visiting Karo's hometown before going to Seattle we toured the lakes that are near Salzburg. They have a lot of very
beautiful lakes. Most of them are embedded into a mountainous landscape and look therefore really cool. The lakes are also very
deep and very cold. I only entered one of them and that only for a few minutes because of them being so cold.

Karo was visiting my hometown for a week in the beginning of June. We had a lot of fun walking around and enjoying the great wheather.
Since I'm usually not walking a lot around at my own neighbourhood (speaking of going for a walk in the nearby villages) it was also
very interesting for me: we discovered a lot of new stuff together!

A trip to Venice
Published on: 20.06.2008
We went to Venice for a few days (beginning of June) before the exams season started. It was an awesome trip that didn't cost us very much because we booked
a hotel that wasn't exactly at the Canale Grande and the flight was also a special offer. In the few days that we spend in the city we walked around to
check out the different attractions, like the Piazza Marcus, the Rialto bridge, Murano and a lot more... awesome trip!

Imagine Cup Finals Austria 2008
Published on: 28.05.2008
We (the team consists of Alex Duggleby, Marlie Oeltze, Stefan Braito and me) participated and won the Austrian Imagine Cup Finals 2008. Our project
is related to biodiversity. We want to simulate how bringing new plants into a habitat changes the habitat; for example, is the plant going to
survive there or is is going to kill other plants that were there before. More on our project is found here.
The pictures in this album have been taken at the IC finals and the meeting with the environment secretary that we had after winning the
finals.

Karo and I did a boat cruise (on the Danube) into the Wachau.
We visited Tulln, passed Krems and went to Dürnstein. Dürnstein is a wonderful town; although a little bit full
of souvenier shops. They have also an old castle on the hill. We went up there to visit that too. During our way
on the Danube we passed also a watergate.

My dad also did a lot of sunrise pictures, which are just plain awesome!

Proms in Vienna
Published on: 23.01.2008
We went to two proms in Vienna: one was the prom of the University of Economy Vienna and the second one was the so called "Flower Prom" that is organized by
Vienna's gardeners. All the two were a lot of fun although I liked the second one a lot more. The "Flower Prom" is usually nicer because the decoration is cooler
and they do it in the Vienna city hall.
